i weigh 90 and i don't know if i should and if u think i should were can i apply to be a model thats close from were i live but i'm still un sure if i should be a model cuz i'm really shy but i would like to because i would gain self confidence but i no sure of wut should i do

If you think you will enjoy it then go for it, however if you are shy and would be made unconfortable by twenty people consentrating on you for hours etc. You should make your mind up yourself not leave it to an internet poll i don't know how old you are but if you are still living with your parents make sure they are happy and it is not going to cause problem, If you are actually thinking about it here is some advise.
I have heard a lot of bad thing about SOME (not all) modelling agencies and how they make you pay for photos and photo sessions before they take you on then never give you any work. Always check with the local Better Business Bureau in teh US or Trading Standards in the Uk or Similar organisation elsewhere.

I think a better starting place before you go to agencies is if you have a friend who is reasonable with a camera (do not have to be a professional or even that good just okay) Just take 100 photos of yourself in different poses, clothing and backgrounds then pick out 10-20 nice photos. You can then use this as a portfolio, and even better instead of printing them which cost you money every time, host them on a website and get some business cards print with the website address on and just hand these out instead. This is a far cheaper way of doing it and with no RISK. You should never have to pay to get a job if you do there is a high chance it is a scam.

However if you would like a personal portfolio site please contact me and I will set you on up for free. I can design you a fully personalised flash website with as much or little information and then host it for you. This site can contain a gallery of your photos, personal information, list of work, contact details, etc or if you prefer just a couple of photos and nothing else. It can be password protected and all images will be protected as is humanly possible, or the photos can be available to download.

Just message me here if you want, I am a professional website designer but have lots of free time (and enough money) so I am currently doing free sites for small bands, small artist etc, basically anyone who could not afford them otherwise. You should do whatever makes you feel best about yourself. My advice is to not choose in haste. This is something you will want to sit down and think over. Make an action plan. Write down contacts and all your options. It would also be a good idea to start yourself a network, by talking to other people who share your interest. If this is something you feel in your gut is worth doing and you can pour yourself into 100%, then by all means go for it, but you shouldn't only want to do it because you think it will help your self confidence because there are an awful lot of models out there that have been torn apart so much so that they started hating themselves and continue to today. If you live in San Francisco then I have a good idea for you. If you live anywhere near San Francisco, start with Beau Bonneau Casting. You pay $30 to be in their data base & it is really fun. Sometimes you are cast as extras in movies (they call at least a couple times a year for an average person). Kids can join to, but they'll need to eventually get a work permit before they can get a job. Go onto the website & look around. Find your way to Direct Cast via the How to sign up page.

Well there's two answers to this. Yes and No. Yes, because you are wanting to attempt to be a model (which means you are passionate). I also said No because of your spelling and grammar. I'm not sure how old you are, but typically, the older you are, the more modeling pays out. It's not really a career for most people, but I'm sure it can bring in some extra money on the side.

You weigh 90...but how tall are you? I think models are fun...it would be a good time, I would do it if I could. I don't have a model body though :(. Just try not to RELY on modeling for confidence..I'm sure you're gorgeous w/o modeling! :)

Best advise I can give, meet some other models in your area and ask for their reference. They will know or should know who's good in your area. There are tons of sites and information in the net. There are many ways to go about it and opinions will vary. To answer your question, go to Yahoo, click on Local, type in "modeling",enter your zip code and ta'da,it will give u links to local agencies. (Or you can search your yellow pages).

The problem isnt finding it though, its ensuring they are legit and good, and not going to take u or ur money for a ride.

saying that you are 90 lbs says nothing--how tall are you and I am guessing you still need parental approval. modeling isn't about just weight, you have to be attractive also. if no one has brought up this with you then you might be the only one who thinks it.
