Dizziness, light-headedness and headaches are normal. Make sure you drink lots of water, cuz dehydration seems to make it worse. 11 weeks is kind of early for laying on your back to make a difference, but as you progress, laying on your back is a no-no, as the weight of your expanding uterus cuts the blood flow through the vena cava, a major artery that moves blood through the body.

You're probably fine, but if you're worried, definitely talk to your doctor. You probably won't even have to make an appointment, just talk to a nurse in the office, she'll probably have some answers for you.

Good luck!

I had that dizziness, too. It is often caused by blood pressure drops or an increased need for blood by the fetus. I would definitely say to keep your appointment tomorrow just to be sure. In the meantime, do not sit up, stand or move positions quickly since this can cause a further drop in blood pressure. Also, sleep on your side, not on your back.

You got too much sun. That, and the hormones are starting to kick in. Call your doctor tomorrow to make sure everything is okay. In the meantime, it is safe to take a little Tylenol for the headache. Also, increase your fluid intake, especially if you want to sun yourself.

It's norm, but you should really watch your sun intake. I'm not saying stay out of the sun, just be aware of how much you are getting. Drink lots of juices and water and good luck.

I was a dizzy mess all thru my pregnancy. Your hormones play havoc on you for the next 7 months.. hang on... it's a wild ride!

Thanks for asking this question. I've been feeling dizzy lately, but I thought it was just because I've stopped a daily medication. Now I think it may be something more.
