best connection for cell phones?

i have a verizon and the connections are brilliant but its a little pricy for me. i dont talk a lot so i want a go phone. tracfone looks cheap but im afraid the connection is going to be poor.
i want good connection + low price.

T-mobile is the cheapest and good reception coverage.
