That very question has been the subject of extensive research lately because certain individuals were claiming that a scientific study proved that prayer offered on behalf of another person can heal that person. The actual research project referred to was very, very poorly done. All subsequent research projects designed to prove whether or not prayer by others can help heal people have proven that it does not help at all.
If God were real, and ignored all the horrible things happening in the world, he'd be a monster and certainly unworthy of worship - so no, even if I knew He was real, no, I would not serve Him. I'd tell Him to go to H E L L.

Nope im not skeptic. I do know he is real. And yes I will serve him all of my days!!! and I have seen the wonerful miracles of Christs healing hands!!! Thank You Jesus!

I'm sure lots of people would be willing to believe if they had some physical proof.
The fact is, though, that there are millions of us who don't need tangible proof. We believe based on faith. We know that one day we will have all the proof we need, when we see our Savior welcoming us home.
