YES. I live in an area that usually doesn't need it. However every summer there is always an unbearable stretch of high temperature and high humidity. During that time I run it constantly. The rest of the summer an attic fan to take advantage of cool summer nights is perfect.

When I lived in Alaska, I didn't have A/C (no need for it - there was only about three or four days where I wished I had it). Now that I live in Alabama, I have central air, and I use it 24 hours a day. I turned it on in April, and haven't turned it off yet (maybe in January I will)!

Yes, I have AC and I set it on 78 all day if the temperature outside is 90 and up. If temperature is above that, set it on 60.

I have central heat and air, and I run my air almost all the time. I try to keep it set at 77 however I'm in a mobile home which is harder to cool, no insulation I guess.

There is't an A/C installed in my house. I live in Alaska. We had about three minutes of summer this year, and I just fanned myself with some paper.
