It was one of the most uncomfortable interviews I've seen. Mike Wallace was very unsympathetic, and the Iranian president was very shifty. There was zero rapport.

Mike Wallace was HORRIBLE. He was rude, agressive, and flippant. The Iranian president, on the other hand, seemed articulate, in control, and relaxed. He smiled a lot.

A "veteran" news man like Wallace should have learned some patience by this point in his career. Now the Iranians will show this tape in Iran and everyone will think we're ALL rude, hot tempered, impatient agressors. It's unfortunate that he represented us that way.
