They buy things that are name brands, like Express, Abercrombie, Hollister, Limited, Gap, etc...but I have seen some things from Target there...

You can try, but make sure you wash them first, and they are super picky about what they buy. Last time I took a bunch of never worn, very recently purchased "party/going out" shirts and they said they were "out of style."??? How can they be out of style to the point where no one would want to wear them??? I had just purchased them all within the past 8 months or so!!!

I hate to say this but they may not take as much stuff as you want to get rid of and they probably wont give you a lot of cash for it either, also if they are overstocked in a certain season (i.e. winter clothes) then they will not buy anymore.

They are just weird but it is worth a try!!!

My experience was that they bought name brand and season specific clothing. They will probably only take fall or winter type clothing now. They only give you 1.00-4.00 ish per piece of clothing also. If you are wanting to make supplemental income, you may want to attempt having a garage sale. If that is not an option take whatever clothing that Plato doesn't buy to other consignment shops in your area. Donate what is left to your local Salvation Army or Goodwill.

yes many a times. they take usually anything new if its in style. and also they give you the most for name brands(hollister, abercrombie, ruehl,) but they almost always take jeans , especially if they are in nice condition

Yes & they would only take this years items. My daughter had items with tags that were bought at end of last year & they would not take them.
