Our government is too large, too expensive, and meddles too much. What can we do?

Can't have it both ways, Government wasn't meant to be in our everyday life's but people ask for it. There wasn't welfare at one time, the right to bare arms is so we can defend ourselves without the need of gov. It was up to us to create business and find jobs, if not you would starve to death. We have to many people that depend on Government to feed, cloth and protect them. New Orleans and Katrina was a good example of this, they were lost without the government helping them, any other community will help each other and rebuild it's own city, this would have been a gold mine to anyone else because there would have been allot of work. New Orleans is still like it was the day after the storm because they don't want to do it, they want the government to do it.

1) Give California to Mexico

2) Let Texas be it's own country like they wanted in the first place

3) Sell Louisiana back to the French

4) Forget about Alaska Montana & Wyoming no body really lives their anyways

5) Let the Mormon's have Utah, Arizona and Nevada

6) Give New York and New Jersey to the mob, they run it anyways

Well, That cuts out a big chunk, any other suggestions?

Oh and to be a politician you have to be able to run a house hold on less the $20,000 a year for 5 years before you can run. That way we know you can stick to a budget and how to make a dollar strech.
