They scream, rant and rave to save the life of a murderer (who has made his own choices), but flush an innocent baby that is inconvenient for them to raise. The one is totally guilty, and the other totally innocent, yet they support the guilty ?

Because their moral-compass is reversed. They don't believe in anything, but themselves, and so FEEL their way through this life. They have convinced themselves that an unborn baby is truly an nonviable mass, because they no longer believe in a creator that gives life, but that they are the life givers (and takers), so answer to no one.

If you paint with too broad a brush, you get paint where it doesn't belong. How can SOME Republicans and Conservatives preach about "the sanctity of life" and not shed a tear for the 50,000 innocent civilians our government has killed in Iraq? I am a left-leaning, sometimes democrat-voting Independent. I am also pro-life in a much stricter sense than most people who claim that title. Life is conception until death, not birth. I do believe, however, that there are some, those who commit the most heinous of crimes, who no longer deserve to be a part of society. I am pro-life in regards to innocents, whether they are unborn or already born. You, obviously, claim to be pro-life, but seem to have little concern for the civilian deaths in Lebanon and Iraq. That is hypocritical...

Probably for the same reasons that Republicans and Conservatives cry, whine, and antagonize to save the life of the unborn, but don't mind killing hunderds of thousands of innocent children in the name of conquest and revenge( the War in Iraq). Making it hard for the handicapped and elderly to acquire benefits by making the paperwork so arduous that even agencies are filing lawsuits . Cutting needed funding to social programs that help the impoverished, mentally ill, and the underprivilegded, but giving themselves a raise( Republican dominated Senate and Congress)! What a wonderful situation for the unborn to come into!They don't mind blindly imposing the Death Penalty even if some innocent people are executed, as in Texas being on record for having done just that, but in cases where there is obvious guilt such as that of Andrea Yates( she killed 5 kids, 5 people, she even ran a couple of them down and then drowned them), they acquit! What do you tell a person's family in such cases? A system that is biased, and cruel...

Ok so when i first read this i was going to "rant and rave" at you but u struck the one chord i have to agree w/ you on. I think the Democratic party is truly the party of the people except they are confusing abortion w/ a women's rights issue when in fact its a human rights issue. That child (and it is a child) has the right to life. But Maybe you could in the future be conscious that it is not the entire party but a misguided few who happen to speak loud

They are a weird group! You are right they will fight for the rights of murders and such but against the innocent children and victims of these people. They seem to be against anything moral and for anything immoral, *** backwards. What is odd is they don't see what they do as wrong. It's ignorance pure and simple, birds of a feather flock together.
I was somewhat for abortion til Hillary Clinton said Republicans were taking the the responsibility of a woman's body from her, where was her responsibility when she got pregnant in the first place, Democrats showed me they are a party of irresponsibly people, that make excuses for it.

The same can be said of republicans and conservatives. They want to save unborn fetuses but could care less about them once they are born into this world.
They'll send kids off to a foreign country to die in a war that was based on lies and deceit. They'll cut benefits for the poor and the elderly. They think that murder is okay as long as your murdering a murderer... and the list goes on.

I think your referring to the ACLU. Not all Dem's and Lib's support abortion. You are stereotyping. The ones that scream the loudest get heard the most. It's just a fact of politics.

Liberals use emotions to pull at your heart. The facts don't matter. Watch the news and see them pulling children's body's out rubble on one side of a conflict but not on the other, when they want to move their agenda. Democrats just want to keep power. They will take from one group and give to another just to get votes. Nothing they do will last for any amount of time. If they are liberal democrats, oh hell, nothing good will come from them.

Because they are human. Humans are hypocritical. I am a die-hard conservative Republican and have no problem saying that Republicans are hypocritical as well.
