You go to your College bookstore and they'll tell you or you can wait for the first day of class and it will be on the syllabus that your prof gives you right off.

Either way, take the ISBN# ( a 10 digit ID# for books) and get them online at half.com, ebay.com, amazon.com, or walmart.com. You'll save tons.

Have a great semester! Remember to study hard and party harder.

Most college bookstores have online websites that will allow you to look up which books you need for your class. If your college doesn't, then you need to go to the bookstore and take your class schedule with you. The tags on the shelves should tell you which class the books are for. If not, you can always ask the bookstore staff. I usually go to the bookstore and write down the ISBN number which can be found on the back of the book near the barcode. Then I get online and search for the ISBN and order the books used. Its MUCH cheaper that way.

If you know which classes you are registered for, the college bookstore will have a list of books required for each class.

If you are trying to add a class on the first day, same thing, but I would wait until you get into the class before buying anything.

Enjoy your first day of university!

Go to the University/College Bookstore and find the ISBN #
then go online to PDXBOOKS.COM and type it in.
it will show you prices from Albiris.com, Half.com, Amazon.com and many more.

*the ISBN # identifies the Exact book and Edition which you need.

if you want to find out ahead of time, and not buy the books at the bookstore, you first have to have your schedule including your teachers' names. Call or email your teachers, they will generally be happy to hand over their list of required and recommended texts. My professors have all felt sorry for the students for how much they have to pay for books. :)
