If you have quite a bit of money (think Bill Gates or Oprah in terms of quantity of money) in a bank account earning a nice rate of interest, its possible that you could make two hundred dollars in one day without even working. The money earns interest for you just sitting there...or rather the bank uses the money and in return gives you a rate of interest on your holdings.

Buy a 100 shares of stock at 50 per share... sell the shares when the stock price hits 52 a share...maybe a bit more to compensate for your positions.
