I don't understand it at all. I simply don't like the "Godfather" movies. I never bashed them ever, I simply state that I'm not a fan and I get responses back saying that I'm either "brainless", "a truly sad person" and this one is just unbelieveable: "you were abused as a child".
It's just a movie! What kind of people think like that over a movie?
I realize that a lot of people like it, I know there are fans and I certainly never bashed them for being so but when someone just states they don't like it, you get odd, non sensical, downright mean comments?
WHY?? I thought everyone in this world was entitled to personal opinions and personal tastes especially when it came to movies.
It's not my kind of film, that's all! What's wrong with that??

i think its older people who just feel like just cause they think it is a classic and love it, all others must love it to.... ive never dissed it, but SO many people love it. i find it a bit confusing personally. so you keep on feeling however you want (im behind you on this one! :)

I'm sorry people bash you for not liking the films! I love them - especially Part II - but I figure to each his own.
I personally don't like horror flicks - lol they are too violent for me!!
Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Obviously we all have diverse tastes or there wouldn't be so many kinds of movies out there.

It`d be a sad old world if we all liked the same films.I personally love the Godfather films but don`t condemn anyone for not liking them - I`ll condemn you if you love Tom Cruise films LOL - now in that case I`d definitely say you`re "sad" AND "brainless" LOL.

If you don't like them, that's fine. The only people offened are those that have too much time on their hands, taking every little thing to heart with a passion. I love only the first two Godfather movies--NOBODY likes the third.

i'm with you! i think those are the most overrated movies ever made. the only one that was a bigger let down after all the hype was scarface. just tell them to F off and ignore them. you're entitled to your own opinion.

Nothings wrong with it. It is their problem. Don't make it yours. I can't stand the movie either. Never even finished watching the first one..

i have seen them and erad all the books.i love those movies but i think you should not be bashed for not liking it. hey!! to each his or her own.
