First, pls refer to him as ex-fiance.
Do you still want to be with such a loser???
Please make police report and let them talk to him.
Don't think you can cancel the transaction.

Cancel the debt card and the fiance...call the bank and tell them it was stolen and used without your permission. If you cancel the transaction the way he wants you to you are committing fraud and become just as guilty as he is. You could go to prison for doing it. He needs help and you should never trust him again. He's sneeky and dishonest and has a real gambling problem. If you stay with him you will see this happen many more times and you be the one who suffers. He has shown you that he will go behind your back...I'll bet he keeps telling you he won't do it again...the problem is that he did it once...he will do it again.

If he STOLE it than I would file charges on him. Thats a lot of money and I'm sure you worked hard for it. I don't think you can cancel on a Debit card. If you think you might be able to then call the bank and ask?

Call your bank immediately and let them know what happened. You probably won't be able to cancel the transaction, but you could make your fiance liable.
He might have a gambling problem. Be very careful as you get closer to the wedding.

If you cancel the transaction the bank is not gonna look very favorably on you. In fact it is considered fraud.
I would think twice about being the finance of a guy who would steal from you and has a gambling problem to boot.
He had no respect for you, your trust or your credit rating.
I see lots of trouble with this guy!!

Well if he simply stole it, regardless of what he used it for , that is your clue to make him an ex. $1500.00 is
alot off money and I would make him pay you back, if
he owes the money else where, too bad, he needs to pay it back to you and whoever he lost it to. That was his responsibility and if he gets by with it this time, He'll do
it again. You aren't really considering marrying him are you? I sure hope not !!! Does he have a job?

You are aware that it is illegal and if caught, depending on what state you live in it could be a felony.....Someone better put a lasso on the finances or someday bubba and his buddies might come collecting or worse yet how about a repo of something you both own because he gambled the money, Try gamblers anonmous. Good Luck

Write both the card and him off to experience. Better you find out now than after you're married. Canceling that transaction is fraud and you could go to jail for that. You, not him.

That should put up major RED FLAGS!!!! The same thing happened to comediene Kathy Griffin although her husband stole in excess of 74,000. but here's the deal, One, your fiance is telling you to cancel the transaction. thats not very commendable. so he might not call it this but the bank would call it stealing! do you want to marry someone that is so shady? lets rethink this a little, I know dating is hard but a life of forced crime is worse
