Everyone keeps telling me that they stopped vomiting at 3mos--but I am on my 4th going on 5th month and I still vomit. I still feel nauseaous and dizzy and I still can't stand eating certain foods I used to enjoy. I spend most weekends sleeping all day and have really no energy to do anything else. Please tell me I am not going through this alone! I feel like it's just me.

Nope sweetheart, not just you. I threw up for 9 months STRAIGHT with my daughter, lost over 30 pounds in the process as well. Went into the doctor several times for iv fluids, because I'd be dehydrated. About the only things I could keep down were tea, lemonade flavor Gatorade (gross!), Cheerios and graham crackers. I think there's also meds you can take if it's severe, talk to your doctor about it. I eventually wound up developing pre-eclampsia, and had to go on bed rest for a month. So it's not just you, it does happen, but not too horribly often. Hang in there!

It's actually normal. Some women have morning sickness throughout the whole 40 weeks, others off and on.

Make sure you stay hydrated. Even if you're feeling sick. Dehydration increases morning sickness. Take several sips, as often as you can - all day. Of all the things that you need to continue to keep down, is water. Don't eat big meals - and if something makes you sick, chances are your baby doesn't want you to eat it. Emetrol is good for morning sickness . Otherwise 1/2 unisom sleep gel cap at night, with a vitamin B6 tablet. You could also talk to your doctor about a prescription - mine gave me Zofran, which is an instant-dissolve anti-nausea pill that works wonders. Expensive if you don't have insurance (like $3000).

I'm 5 1/2 months pregnant with twins - and have only begun to start not having the all-day-all-night morning sickness. Now, it's just every other day or so. The twins must really like creamed spinach - it's still the only thing that I can keep down!

nope! I am almost 5 months along and still sick as a dog. My OB/GYN says that some women go all 9 months like this. I did it with my son and It is not as bad with this child. I am sick until about 1:00 PM and then I am OK. Just hang in there. You only have 4 more months to go.

Congrats and good luck

I had morning sickness until my kids were born. The first trimester was the worst, but I was still sick until the end. I think that there were about 10 foods that I could eat without running to the bathroom. I was even on meds and that only kept me from throwing up, it didn't do squat for the nausua. If you need more support email me. Good luck.

You are not alone, I was sick the entire pregnancy with my daughter.
You can request that your doctor prescribe you some phenergan. Also, try eating small meals several times a day vs large one's 3 times a day.
Hope you start to feel better.

Oh I'm so sorry for you! My mother was sick the entire time with me. There are medications your doctor can give you which will help and not harm the baby.

You can also try those wrist bands for motion sickness!

I hope the sickness goes away soon and you give birth to a beautiful, healthy, happy child.

I am four and a half months pregnant and I am still having all day sickness. I am lucky though, I got medication to help me with the nausea. I have been on it for two months and it works GREAT. You should ask your Dr. for something.

I had the same problem, some one suggested saltine crackers and warm coke, before you get out of bed. It worked for me. But I still would get really dizzy during the day so i talked to my doctor------ FOUND out I was having TWINS they put me on bed rest and of coarse it stopped.
