I hate going to the other side of 8 Mile, I hate the cops, I hate the stores, caucasians are always looking at me as if Im out to get them, when i go to the malls in the suburbs, its as if my skin color just has detroit written all over it. Has anyone else ever felt this way?

Regularly! In fact, it would be easier for me to list what suburbs I haven't been pulled over in for no reason, than to list the ones in which I have.

When I used to work in Utica, some years ago, a cop pulled me over and asked my what was I doing out there!

Felt like I was in aparthied South Africa.

As to Fritz B, we didn't ask to come here in the first freakin place. pay us for 400 yrs of free labor, and maybe we will leave! lol

How is your attitude any different than the Klan or Hitler? You probably even consider yourself a Christian too, eh?

So much for the American Melting pot of inclusion, eh?

this would be a problematic sociological question , The cops in Detroit sound terrible. I even have been contained in the protection rigidity as a youthful guy, this makes me sense as though I very own a chew of the rock. I used to hold out with a police officer in Philadelphia PA, and he replaced into between the main suitable freinds I ever had. cops are basically human beings first. There are a number of them who're organic jerks. like the the remainder of the international. The Holy Bible tells me to no longer be a respecter of persons, to deem no'one yet God principally. i'm an old guy and that i've got experienced the solid and the undesirable. There are undesirable people who could disagree with me yet i'm proud to be basically an American. The undesirable human beings whoever they're gets theirs faster or later. I even have had some grimy crap happen to me by utilising all colorations of the rainbow, yet I even have watched a lot of them die yet i'm nonetheless right here fairly chuffed. i'm proud to be a proud American guy of coloration.

This is a hard sociological question , The police officers in Detroit sound horrible. I have been in the military as a young man, this makes me feel as if I own a piece of the rock.
I used to hang out with a police officer in Philadelphia PA, and he was one of the best freinds I ever had. Police officers are just people first. There are some of them who are pure jerks. just like the rest of the world. The Holy Bible tells me not to be a respecter of persons, to deem no'one but God above all. I am an old man and I have experienced the good and the bad. There are bad people who would disagree with me but I am proud to be just an American. The bad people whoever they are will get theirs sooner or later. I have had some dirty crap happen to me by all colors of the rainbow, yet I have watched many of them die but I am still here reasonably happy.
I am proud to be a proud American man of color.

You are right, a lot of people in the suburbs are like that. Not everyone, though. I used to live in Centerline off of VanDyke and 10 mile (I also lived in Warren, Royal Oak and Dearborn). My dad lived near 8 mile and Telegraph in Redford for a long time. I am a white chick and I even felt out of place in certain areas. I felt the same way if I went to Birmingham or Gross Pointe. I can't even imagine what it's like for you. It's too bad that things are like that.

Racism is everywhere. I'm white and I get that feeling when I go to areas that I stand out in. People have a problem with someone who appears to be different than the normal unfortunately. I would not treat you that way:-)

If you don’t like the way white people look at you, move to one of the many black paradises around the world. Rwanda, Haiti, Somalia, Zimbabwe, and South Africa are all wonderful places to live and virtually free of white people.
