one of my kids loved driving - could handle up to 2.5 hours as an infant. our second born hated car travel, coudn't last more than 15 minutes without then screaming the entire trip.
all you can do it limit your car trips. she doesn't need to go anywhere far anyway.
remember, day care is horrible for a child.

Check to see if the straps are too tight or if they are twisted, she/he may be uncomfortable.
Try one of those toys that go across the whole handle on the carrier, they usually have toys hanging down and lights and music. I had a child that was like that. Had to have the lights and music going...she did NOT like the car seat. Hope this helps. Good luck.

You should be able to put a finger between chest and strap, if thats good then it isnt too tight.
I had this wonderful experience with my daughter also. Some infants just dont enjoy it like most.
The only thing we could do (because I couldnt bear hearing her scream the whole time), is take stops on the way to your destination, or just have to stay home. Its up to you, but I figured she would have to get used to it somehow, trying putting her in it at home without being in a car to get her used to it.
Good luck

When you leave the hospital, they make those belts so tight they can hardly breathe. I had to fight with a nurse because my daughter got caught during child birth and had a shoulder injury. She screamed to the car, and as soon as we got in the car, I loosened the belts a little, still close to her body, but not pulling her down. Try that first, then go from there.

She may be afraid of the noise in the car i.e., a loud motor, loud radio, bumpy road. This is unusual because most babies are calmer in a car. She may be uncomfortable in the car seat. Try padding it a little and see if that helps. I hope this helps good luck.

Try to put on music and sing in the car to her and give her some toys to keep her mind off the road

she probable would not desire to be placed down, and needs to be carried. some toddlers in simple terms hate vehicle seats--my little niece did. the only factor that made her give up crying is that if somebody talked to her or we waved a toy in her face. she finally have been given used to it, and your daughter will to as long as you do not take her out of the seat. did you are trying shading her from the image voltaic? she won't like the solar. if she cries extra durable with the colour, then in simple terms push it back up. what maximum toddlers do in comparison to approximately that form of motor vehicle seat is they might desire to stand the back, and all they see is the seat as a replace of their loving mum and dad. does your spouse sit down along with her on the back and pay interest to her? you may try putting some thing for her to look at or a mirror in front of her to look at herself. do not difficulty. in time, she can love her vehicle seat, do exactly not take her out of it. desire this facilitates.

Try swaddling here in a blanket. There are many reasons she may cry. Sometimes babies cry just to cry. Does she sound like something is really wrong or is it just a whiney cry. If she sounds like something is wrong, she may be prone to getting car sick.

It could be that the should straps are slightly too tight and they are hurting her. it could be that she just does not feel safe, bring along a stuffed animal or a special toy that she likes to help her feel safe.
