i'm kinda bored with my music. I listen to alot of dance/house, classic rock and The Smiths, The Cure, Joy Division that kinda stuff. So maybe if you can give me an artist or a song that is kinda like The Smiths, Led Zeppelin, or Jeff Buckley thatd be good. Even if theyre not like those artists, if you think i'd like it, list it. thanks.

I love these songs and artists:

Beyonce: Deja Vu
Cassie: Me and You
Chris Brown: Say Good Bye; Run it
Rihanna: Unfaithful: SOS
Ciara: Get up
Nelly Furtado: Promisuous
Chamillionare: Ridin'
Dem Franchize Boys: Lean wit it rock wit it; Ridin' Rims
Yung Joc: It's Goin' Down: I know you see it
PussyCat Dolls: Buttons; Stickwitu
T.I.: Why you wanna: What you Know
Well it seems like you like rock and stuff, you should try rap and R&B sometime. It is great.

do you like allman brothers band? i LOVE the song jessica.
you could also try the eagles [you GOTTA love them!] and lynyrd skynyrd. [although you probably already listen to these guys]
so you like new wave, right? try new order, hot hot heat, the killers, blondie, and the police [which are the best ever]. hot hot heat and the killers sound SO much like 80s new wave--it's hard to believe they're recent.
also, a random suggestion: oasis. not all of their songs are too whiny, and they've got some real classics. anyway that's all i can think of now.

Sufjan Stevens - "John Wayne Gacy, Jr."
Elliott - "Speed of Film"
the December Drive - "Buffalo Wing Diplomacy"
the Postal Service - "Such Great Heights"
Arcade Fire - "Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels)"
Coheed & Cambria - "Time Consumer"
Aarktica - "Ocean"

Those bands are mostly indie sort of stuff, probably some of my all time favorite songs. If you check them out, I hope you like them.

the school my children go to is gang infested by hispanic gangs. the majority of street gangs are hispanic, no? they are where i live. i dont know of any white street gangs anywhere close to where i live. i dont want my children exposed to the criminal gang lifstyle. does that make me racist? am i a racist for wanting the safest environment for my kids? i do care about them and their future. i only want the best for them just like every other parent wants the best for their kids. and to answer your question, no you shouldnt leave your school because of whites, unless you have violent, criminal white gangs. then you should. it wouldnt be safe.
