Yeah you got a point about poker on ESPN! why would you put a card game on a sports network? and why would you put it on tv, either you play it or you don't, why bother watching others play it? there's no action or excitement...

Yeah, but shouldn't it be considered a "game" like "steal the bacon" or "capture the flag" which also involve running and/or throwing?

Swimming shouldn't be either because it's not a competition between two teams, racing shouldn't be considered sports either but should be in their own category of Races, swimming races could be considered as either Races or Aquatic competitions, not really sports.
My idea of a sport is two teams competing to get points and whoever gets the most points wins, no ultimate frisbee is just about that but it is not as skillful of a sport as baseball, basketball, football, soccer...etc. it just seems to be more of a "dog activity" because to me, a frisbee is a dog toy!

And another thing is What the heck is up with the one foot on the ground rule? what kind of "sport" is that where you don't move around if you have the frisbee anyway?
