Most of the time, the reason why I'm having a hard time making a decision is because I listen to my heart. So what I do is I tune out my heart and listen to my brain.

I use logic (mind) to inform my decision-making process. I'll ask people I trust and respect for their opinion. Then I try to let my intuition (heart) guide me. Often intuition and logic seem to contradict each other, but in hindsight they end up supporting each other.

Ultimately, the nature of your heart will color the decision you make. If you know the nature of your heart (generous, selfish, selfless, or egotistical) you can know whether or not it will guide you well.

i use the theory-think like Spock. no heart, just brain decision. using heart is good like for your kids,etc. but,like in my situation,dealing with my newly ex-wife, use your head. sometimes the heart can get ya in trouble.
