When school is in session is when you would have a hassle. You have to have a parking pass to park there.

I used to work for a school district as well as served as an elected board official, and if you're not pkg in handicap space, or blocking a delivery door, speak with janitors they will let you know where you can park without getting a ticket. During the summer there are fewer cars and should be no problem. JUST ASK?

Be careful! All schools have someone watching over the property, and I'm sure they would report your car since they would not recognize it as belonging to staff. Most schools do have people working all year long. The suspicious car could definitley get towed.
However, if you do go in to the office and ask if they would mind, you could get the best answer.
Especially at this time of year, most teachers are already back and the kids will be starting soon, depending on where you live, of course.

If someone questioned why your car was in the school parking lot or it was the only one there, you'd have a good reason for being there right?
During school though, you would most likely need to pay for a parking pass if you're a student or teacher. If you're not associated with the school at all, I imagine you would not be able to park there.'

If you have no business there, you are trespassing. School personnel and school security might notice the car and have it removed. People that work in Government buildings are told to be suspicious of unoccupied vehicles for obvious reasons.

Each school has their own rules. You would have to ask them, but keep a record of who you ask so if you get in trouble later, you can prove you got permission.
