Some are addicted to many things. Having looked at all the questions you've answered on your profile page, I'd say we share an addiction to Yahoo! Answers! (or we are both bored a lot. I know I am.)

Yes, it's just another way of saying being passionate about something. It's better to have positive addictions than negative ones.

People are addicted to what they think will impress others. However, they do not realize that this is really only a substitute for what is missing in the dark void inside...what keeps them up at night....what they fear...what they wake up in a cold sweat thinking about....filling this void is what they should be addicted to....making this a reality, is the true path.
