Given your parameters, here are your choices, but do keep in mind that if you intend to teach at the college level, a PhD will be necessary. Choose the best school you can get into, as that will help with admission into graduate programs.
Pomona College would be your best bet, as it is highly ranked, and will help with grad admissions.
The colleges below are also selective in terms of admissions, and thus would provide a good basis for eventual admissions to a PhD program in Art History.
Pepperdine
Loyola Marymount
University of San Francisco
University of the Pacific
Santa Clara University
Chapman University
Mills College
University of Redlands

If you want to get a Master's Degree, I would transfer to a larger school that is well recognized so that admission to a Master's Program will be possible.
There are so many colleges in California that it would be impossible to name them all. If you want a smaller campus, then the UC system is probably out (with the possible exceptions of Merced, Santa Cruz, and Riverside, depending on what you consider "small"). Pepperdine was started by the Jesuits, but is NOT a Christian affiliated campus. Santa Clara is nice and is still affiliated with the church. University of San Diego is also a Chrsitian-affiliated college that is smaller in size.
Make sure all your credits transfer!
Good luck!

I know that Pepperdine is supposed to be a great Christian school that has a quiet and homely feel.
Note: It IS actually a Christian college. It has an affiliation with the Church of Christ. I know because I considered going there before I found out that it is a Christian institution.

I don't know about any specific schools, but I recommend that you talk with a counselor from your school. More important than what you're looking for is that your credits will transfer (you wouldn't believe the horror stories I've heard about students not having credits transfer.) Good luck getting away from a "Greek life school" idiots are everywhere.

I would look into Cal States or UCs. You can also talk to your counselor about what school to transfer to.
