Yahoo Answers is a hobby! lol, but if you want to try something new, go rollerblading or hiking, and if you're not an outdoors person, then take classes in dancing.

Hey! You're trying! When I was in college, my favorite extracurricular course was Karate. It was incredibly relaxing and the more time and energy you have to devote to it, the better. Any exercise is rewarding though. Karate gets expensive because there is a fee for every new belt (or level of skill). You could do whatever interests you: yoga, tai chi, swim aerobics, etc!
Nowadays, I do decoupage and small wood crafts (the unfinished wood products like shelves or trinket boxes are decorated and painted to individual taste) because those are two crafts that require no skills!! Decoupage requires the skills of cutting with scissors, then gluing them on to whatever you desire: furniture, craft projects, signs, etc. Do a search on it or buy a book but all you need to do is buy a few items like varnish or a sealer and something to use for your project like wrapping paper or tissue paper or old Christmas cards. Directions are quite clear on the web. That's how I did it.
Good luck finding something. A good book you've always meant to read or a good movie you've always wanted to see can always spark an interest in a whole new genre for you.

I would take up photography. It is a little spending for a nice camera, but its worth it. It's fun and there always something to take a picture of. I stop by the park about once a week and walk around in the woods to get pictures of deer, birds, turkey and beavers along the river here. The latest pictures I got were of a doe and a fawn also two female turkeys with about a dozen babies. Its very fun and interesting.

Bead and wirework. The best there is. I started about 10 years ago and today I actually have a thriving business (one of them) making sterling silver jewelry with Murano and Swarovski crystal beads. It's relaxing, very creative, incredibly artistic and the feel and look of the beads just pull you in and you become hooked.
Hope it works for you. Start with a kit and work from there.

Try scraping. It is fun if you have the time and money. Then you can look back 20 years from now and laugh or think about how much things chagned. Or you can start making crafts like making earings and stuff like that. It deppends on what kind of things you like. I sure if you think about it you will find something perfet for you!

You should collect stamps! It's very rewarding and there are many websites that send you free stamps to start you with. Mysticstamp.com, Kenmorestamp.com, and ArpinPhilately.com. Just think, every year, the value of your stamps will go up and they will be worth a lot more than you bought them for!
