I think it's a good idea to go back to the question you answered before for two reasons:

1. You will compare your idea to others
2. If the question ever goes to voting, you can vote for your own answer

I am just wondering, but do you?

If I think I've provided a really good, detailed, complete answer, I will put it on my watch list and then come back to it later to check on it. If I've merely answered the question and don't feel that confident about my answer, I usually don't bother -- I figure if the other person felt my answer was good enough, then I'd find out about it in an email if it was voted best answer anyway. I do read others' answers after I post my own (I like to post my own answers without being swayed by the views of others) because I am curious.

Nope not really I just care for the points I get for answering each question. Sometimes I look at peoples answer before I answer the question so I can make sure that I didn't say what others said. And sometimes I go back at topics that I like talking about, just to make sure my answer was nice & clear

Most times because I like to see if what I had to say stimulates others ideas. Also, if there is voting going on I like to put my 2 cents in. Oddly enough, I don't always vote for my own because other people make points I don't necessarily notice.

Sometimes I do, if I can come up with something to add to my answer. And I usually do all my voting in the morning before I start answering, and I can usually recognize a question I've answered as well as remember which answer was mine and vote for it :)

Not intentionally but I've run across a question or two that I've answered in the voting section

Once in awhile when I want to see what others answered. I didn't know you could vote for yourself. Seems like a lot of check check and recheckin tho. :)

Sometimes I do. It depends how strongly I feel about the question or what it is related to. I have some questions on my watched list because I want to know the right answer.

I like to go back and see the answers and rate them. I would think you could not vote for yourself!

Yes. Some questions are interesting enough that I really do want to know how other people are answering it.
