i just flew in from atlanta to portland last night (as in saturday, august 12, 2006) with Delta Airlines and I was allowed to use my iPod. i made sure of this by letting the flight attendant see me using it while serving the meals.

with the recent events that has happened if you are planning on flying i would check with the airlines directly and ask specifically what can be taken in your carry on and what cannot be
