Were they full accepted members of the community? Did the neighbors know them well (or at all)?

1. They went through training taught by Al Queda on American life style,habits and culture of Americans.

2. They had cash money..Lot's of money.

3. They were clean shaven which sort of distracts views away from Arab men with beards.

4. They spoke English.

5. They had rehearsed their plan prior to initiating it.

6. They had internal support in America.

7. They knew are system. It is easy, regimented, and prior to 9/11 very easy to breach.

8. They kept to themselves, didn't draw any attention.

9. Knew the layouts of the airports involved.

10. They were brain washed in training camps in Afghanistan.

The answer is evidently very well. They had relationships, attended classes, shopped, etc...without drawing attention. It does appear that they kept to themselves with a small circle of friends which was smart. I don't believe they were suspect until it was too late (after 9/11); however, because of them, it will be more difficult for those that follow (hopefully).

Much too well. I think that if a group of Arabs signed up for flying lessons again they might not be so lucky.
