so far it looks like I will make 8,666/month not including bonuses or stock options or ESPP(which are all treated like ordinary income) last year I had my best year, 13,166/month.

Here is what you are probably looking for:

In 2004, household median income was 44,473. Use this link and it will tell you by each state

for families in 2005:
The lowest 20% makes less then 24,780
The next 20% makes between 24,780 and 43,400
The middle 20% makes between 43,400 and 65,828
The next 20% makes between 65,828 and 100,000
The upper 20% makes above 100,000

The top 5% makes over 173,640

All of this information is broken down by person, household and family and by certain characteristics. It's interesting to look through.

$656.00 per month on SSI and SSA disability. I have free rent living with my mom and my own car from my dad, which I don't drive much. Medical is also free, I have a real doctor thanks to Mom's doctor making an exception for me, but to see a psychiatrist I'd have to sign up for a waiting list to see a social worker at a clinic, so not interested. I rely on self-help books and internet research to attempt to improve my life. No one from those social security organizations checks up on me in any way.

Do you really expect people to answer that question honestly? I wouldn't base any research on any answers you get on this board. You probably have people making $500/month claiming to make $5000/month.
