Wash all clothing and bedding in hot water. Vacuum everywhere. Buy RID and shampoo the hair, then comb out the nits. Spray the RID spray in the car, on the couch, or anywhere else that includes fabric that you cannot put into the washing machine.

Sorry, I don't know any home remedies.

Soaking the hair in diesel fuel-it not only kills the lice, but makes the hair slippery for easy nit removal.

Melaleuca oil chases them away but doesn't kill them.
Washing your hair in kerosene will kill the nits just like R&C shampoo. Resistance to kerosene has nto been noted as yet.

go to the store buy RID follow instuctions. wash everything in hot water.

put lots of gunk in it like grease & spray.....lice luvs a clean scalp,they cant survive in dirty hair!!!
