My dogs always lift their hind legs up 2 show everything when they pee under a tree,

do ur dogs do the same??

Dogs mark their territory by leaving their sent. The higher the better. Wolfs & wild dogs who live on the plains or tundra dont lift their leg.

Dogs, especially male dogs, do it because they aspire to be ballerinas. I highly suspect the first dogs came from Russia.

The story is, the legs were made with mud so they do not wish to wet their legs or they will lose them.
