Ok here are the facts. He has never had a girlfriend, didn't go to prom, shot down the affections of a hot girl, and is a choir nut. He seems to act awkward around me. I called him on it, but he denied it. He seems to sit by me a lot, but doesn't all the time. Sometimes, I swear I see him staring at me, but I don't know that for sure. I haven't given him obvious hints that I am VERY interested in him because I don't want to upset him if he is straight. I also haven't talked to him because he is super popular so that there isn't a lot of alone time and I am terribly embarrassed that I am bi. I would hate to admit that to a straight guy who I don't know on the deepest level. Finally, the reason I think he might be not be gay is that he has a straight sounding voice, I think!? (see my other question)

He's probably as confused as you are...believe me if he is that way inclined he will already have picked up the vibes you are giving out....write him a letter along the lines you have spoken of here, you just have to take a chance mate or you'll end up going round in circles.

That is touchy... If you really like him and would like to score with him... it might be worth a try but go... step lightly.. straight sounding voice.. what is that.. that has nothing to do with anything.

You could do one of two things.... just keep doing what you are doing and also looking at him and when he looks back.. sort of act startled and look down.. maybe in time he will give you indications that you are waiting for.

Secondly which is a tread lightly part.. you could try talking to him.. I do not understand that part though where you say he denied being ackward being around you and yet you say that you do not talk to him much.. that is confusing.. IF YOU DO TALK to him infrequently, try to look for excuses to talk to him more... Try to get him alone away from the normal routine and only then I believe you can get a better feel...No.. do not feel him (lol)

A lot of gay guys have deep and straight sounding voices. You're going to have tostrike up conversation leading to talks about sex and dating. Talk about a famous guy who think looks good and you would like to be like and see how he reacts.

Poor baby. Be his friend. One day when you both feel that the friendship is strong enough, you can share your secret and maybe he'll share his. If not, you'll have a great straight friend.

BTW, I'm gay as a goose and my voice is just fine.

Being U I would be a nervous wreck..wondering whether or not he is actually curious, bi or gay...I think U should be subtle cause U don't wanna be beaten or anything like dat..Maybe hold his hands a little long.. or walk by him and bump into him by mistake..look at his reaction and go from there..But be very careful..IF he's not gay..u wouldn't like da consequences.

He's probably straight, since he would have said something earlier.

No you shouldn't waste his time. If you are embarrassed to be yourself, you shouldn't bother him with your problems.
