The question is why do people ignore their own flaws and concentrate on the ones the rest of us have?

Insecurity and denial my friend. It's textbook. People are always in denial about their own lives, but give them someone else to pick apart and watch them go. It's much easier for them to point out flaws in everyone else because it makes them feel better about themselves. And since we live in such a "feel good" world, the vicious cycle continues.

they probably have more experience at lifes problems! I personally know that I have PLENTY of flaws and defects, some of which im just begiining to realise and discover. I also have 2 professional qualifications in counselling including a btec. People dont mean to interfere = just try to help as they know how it sometimes can be. Be patient with people, they dont mean to get on your wick

Sometimes the most messed up people are the ones who have survived what the others are just going through. They can give advise on what works or doesn't work to help the others through.

The thing is that the reason people are so messed up is because they think they already know everything and refuse to listen to anyone else.

sometimes its out of genuine good wiil, as in learning from their own experiences or it could just be that they are really put-to-right and trying to play mother or without being able to or without dealing with their own problems.

it is simply because they´ve been through that kind of situation and they already know how to handle and solve it..also because they don´t want the same thing to happen to you.
