No, america isn't as good as they make it out to be, america is full of crime, and obesity, americans don't usually care about what lies beyond their boarders, unlike us europeans, we understand this plannet extends outside of our contry, america invented "american football" which is not actually football, they throw a rugby ball around a field, wheres as britain invented a real sport - football which is the most popular and is played globally, americans stick to what they own or made, they made McDonalds and Burger King, how embarrising! Europe is much better, we like to visit other contries and see different types of people, we dont make a sport where men with over-sized shoulder pads throw a rugby ball around a field and call it football, "soccer" IS REAL FOOTBALL!! Americans speak english, and as try to hide it by making new words up, like "Sidewalk" "Elevator" Make out" and my house is even older than america, why do they promote themselves so much? They want people to like them?

NO. Our media is poison for the mind. Everyone is brainwashed from a young age. Ever read Brave New World? Ever wonder how closely related it is to America and it's government? I dont think for a doubt that book was just a sci-fiction novel...
See how much the Media lies and brainwashes its viewer:
This is a news clip:

And here is a very, very interesting documentary:

Now, you be the judge.

Of course it is. We are free to speak as we please, we have more rights granted to us than most other countries. We are among the most wealthy, we are among the most technologically advanced. We as Americans are the first to help another country in need, even if that country has turned against us in the past. In the event of a crisis, even when the country is seperated, we ALWAYS pull it together to help one another. Apparently the majority of the world believes we are, or they wouldn't be trying so hard to migrate to our borders, or destroy us. We accept people of all cultures, creeds and races, that is what makes us great. All are welcome here (legally)
p.s. I guess its a good thing you do live in Europe then huh. So stay in your OLD run down home, with your European English, and stay out of America. We really don't need your stench. You know in America we insist on deodorant!

No. Obviously the answer has to be Denmark, Sweden, Iceland or some more progressive nation. I'm not saying America is terrible. It has many great things, and many bad things. I live in Japan now, and I can say that, despite a few gripes, I would prefer to live here. I like the fact that there is not so much flag-waving and Christian dominance in politics and everyday life as there appears to be in the US.
All I can say to America is please, please remove your president, get out of those wars and you'll be loved again.

Yes and no. I take a lot of things for granted, I am sure, but nevertheless desire to move to another country in Europe, perhaps the UK, if things get bad here.

No, there are plenty of European countries that are better, as well as Canada. America is past it's prime and sliding toward being a footnote in history.

No, I don't think so.
But it is a good country for ordinary people.
There is no guarantee of success for all people. But at least the opportunity can be here as long as your are willing to work for it.

I suppose that depends on how you define best. Are we the smartest? Probably not, are we the strongest, debatable? Are we the richest, probably. It just depends on how you define best.
