Because we are everything their religion says is BAD. Women are not second class citizens (well, in the literal sense - we still have some ways to go yet!), we drink, smoke, engage in sexual relations outside of marriage, openly flaunt our excesses, and do not find shame in anything we do. They don't like that. It goes against what they believe in their religion. So we are the DEVIL!
Seriously, they don't like how we live, but I don't think that all Muslims hate America - just the fanatics and the ones that have their heads filled with bogus propaganda about us. So I think the question is somewhat a generalization.

Not all muslims hate America. Americans just imagine all muslims hate them because they don't know any better. Most Muslims just hate George Bush for initiating a war in Iraq, not America.

I've noticed terrorism in countries other than America: Egypt, Philippines, Indonesia, Somalia, Saudi Arabia, Sudan...
I reckon those that engage in this conduct hate modernity.

Because it's about sex! The want to keep their women at home covered up and beat them like dogs. Plane and simple.. Muslim men do not want their women westernized.
