Most states in the US require the worker to be at least 16 years old and he/she can only work part time hours and not late at night or early in the morning.

It depends on what province, the hiring age for now is 16 but some stores let 15 year old work now

In Ohio you have to be old enough to hold a work permit (15). Then, you are limited to about 20 hours per week, & no working past
7 pm. Otherwise, when you hit 18 years old, you can work as many hours as your employer allows.

Be aware, some places may limit wages, too based on age. I am not sure about this, you may want to ask when applying.

evet state is different, however, here in Oklahoma it is 16
