should you chart your Basal Temperature if you dont get a period every month? aleast if i take birth control.

What i am trying to say that i dont get my period normal i have to take birth control. please help

I tried to take my temp every morning and I told my OBGYN and she said that I could stop because that wouldn't help in any way

If your taking birth control, what's the point of taking your basal temperature to find when you're ovulating? Stop with the hassle of taking your basal temperature.
