As long as my mom couldn't have anything to do with the new me.
But seriously, yes. Cloning sounds like a great idea and a potential boon to science. I am all for it as well as stem cell research. We need new, better, easier, safer ways to test and experiment for the good of humanity. Cloning could be great.

why not?! if i wanted a photo copy of myself , i would definitely go for cloning. moral issues are ppl and mainly time dependant. what was wrong a thousand years back may not be so now. cloning also will be like that in future. no one person or any powerful group can stop things from happening for all time.

One of me is all the world can handle. Seriously though, I wouldn't let myself be cloned. Besides all the ghastly effects that might come from cloning I wouldn't want my clone to get me thrown into jail. Everything that comes from cloning is negative, there is absoultly no postives to cloning, accept on animals... Even then its wrong in a way.

Sure It's the only way to reproduce my greatness without contaminating my gene pool.

Seriously I don't have a problem with cloning in certain circumstances.

Yes, to produce cell therapies I might need to cure me of the ravages of old age.

I would not clone myself for the purpose of producing a genetically duplicate person (identical twin) of me, primarily because we have not got the technology working well enough yet to ensure the resulting person did not suffer from birth defects.

Besides, reproduction the old fashioned way is so much more fun, don't you think?
