like pimple (white head) it looks like, in the corner of her lips. She has squeezed it n got little stuff out of it, but it still has like a knot on it. What is this? Is there someway to get it out. It won't come out with hot packs, and a needle. It looks nasty on the side of her mouth. It not Herpies, its just like a white head thats been there for a couple years, and she decided to try and get it out on her own. All suggestions and ideas of what this is would be helpful.

If it's on the inside & the outside or her mouth & it is spreading, it could be the Herpes Simplex Disease.

See may need to see a doctor immediately. And don't kiss her. See needs to make sure that she washes all utensils that go into her mouth w/ extremely hot water & bleach. Then put them into the dish-washer.

Don't play with this one. Seek medical help soon.

It could be a mucinoid or sebacious cyst, neither of which are dangerous, but if it is unattractive and she wishes to have it removed, it is a simple procedure in a dermatologist's office.

No matter what it turns out to be, she should see her doctor - he can refer her to a dermatologist if he can't figure it out himself.

what you are seeing is similar to a cyst. it runs very deep into the pore and just squezzing wont get it out, but will leave a blood blister if you try to hard. constant pressure several times a day for several days is about the best method to get the whitehead to come out. just don't rush it. it may take a long time but it eventually can be removed.

it could be scar tissue, calcium or fat deposit, dont poke at it or you might get an infection. if it's been there that long it's not a whitehead and she needs to probably get it professionally removed at the doc.

Try going to a dermatologist to check it out and clear it up.

Please do not try to get it out with a needle - you may make the matters worse and get it infected. Check with your regular physician before going to a dermatologist (they tend to be more expensive and require a referral).
