I've known this guy for over a year now, maybe even two! He's the sweetest guy ever and although we text and talk we don't see eachother that often he's still my bestfriend!

I'm meeting up with him at the weekend and he has a present for me which he bought for me on his holidays!

I feel kind of nervous meeting him and i dunno why?

He has a personality to die for! I can talk to him about anything! I'm not attracted to him - Looks wise but i really love him, problem is I'm not sure if it's love as in a friend?!

Help!!!

If you've been friends for so long I'd stay away from making it sexual. He'd eventually drop out and leave if you don't stay a strong friend, but making it a sexual thing is almost guaranteed to make him leave as soon as you guys break up.

If you're both adults, it's perfectly legal to ask how he feels about you sexually wise and see if you can have separate feelings about friendship and sex. It works on (some) mature adults.

Otherwise, stick it as a friend. Hopefully he will stick around when he gets a girlfriend.

WOW!You must be terribly young. I believe there isn't any physical attraction between the two of you but now's the time to find out. At the first chance give him a "so glad to see you hug and mouth-to mouth kiss.If he backs off he probably sees you as a sister or I'm afraid he may be gay or bisexual and you should not expect much more than frienship.Good Luck.

FYI - my wife & I were good friends thru college and 3 yr after that. We had the same feelings for each other that you have, but were both afraid to "spoil the friendship." I finally kissed her, and she KISSED me back. We've been married 40 yrs. So, good friends can become lovers. Times change, people change, you mature. What you were not attracted to before, can change. So, my advice is GO FOR IT. But like one of the prev answers. Give him a kiss on the cheek, or lightly on the lips. But don't draw back right after the kiss. Give him a chance to react. He may kiss you back. He may say "What was that all about?" Then tell him, you really like him and were checking to see how he felt about you.

Take this easy. You are still developing this relationship if you "love him", though you are not attracted to him. If you still notice his looks and it makes a difference, then it is not unconditional and you are not in total love. Nervous for you or him? If you are nervous for you, is it becasue you are not sure? Then tell him so and be honest....tell him you really like him and he is the best friend you have. Tell him he may need to be patient with you.. or tell him that you want him as a friend and do not want this hurt by taking the next step so fast.

Yes. Kiss him. It will probably be akward the first time so you'll have to try it again...which might also be akward...so go for a third...eventually you will have a great kiss from a friend...really...that's the ultimate aim of a relationship.

If you love him and he loves you he will make the first move, he will try to kiss you first, he will ask you on the dates all you have to do is play along you will know if you really love him or if you just like him.

The only way to discover your true feelings for him is to take a risk. You should definitely kiss him, if only to find out how you feel.

Kiss where? If he's such a good friend.Kiss him on the cheeks. NEVER on the mouth if you're not attracted to him.

it could be that you like him in that special kind of way. maybe try flirting with him a little and see how he reacts, or if you feel brave enough, tell him how you feel. He might feel the same way.
