I took a pregnancy one day before period just to satisfy friends curiousity. One faint line showed up and I was like hell no, but then I took another one in the morning just to be sure and another faint line showed up. Is this positive because technically my period is not late yet.

uaually it means it is positive...
the reason it isnt a a dark line is that he pregnancy hormones arent strong enough yet...
wait a few more days and repeat the test... the line should be darker next time...
or go and see a doctor to confirm

Congratulations...sounds like you are pregnant. I took my pregnancy test with my 2nd at least 4 days before my period was due...possibly even a day or two before that, and it was very faint, but definitely a line. A line, means you're pregnant. If you weren't, the line would not be there for sure.

If you will read the instructions on a pregnancy test....it says that even a faint line means a positive. Sounds like its time to make an appointment with your OBGYN. (even if your period isnt late then you could still be pregnant)

A faint line will always "eventually" show up - due to the hormones it is reading. The key is to read the test in the amount of time suggested. However, if you are pregnant, the day after a missed period, that line will show up.

Thats how I found on with all 4 of mine. A light line is just a sign that the hormones aren't yet strong enough. I guess satisfying curiousity of a friend really opened a new chapter for you huh? Hope all goes well with things.

Most pregnancy tests have two lines come up. The second line means your pregnant. Make sure you are looking at the right line. If it shows up at all, then you are pregnant.
I had this happen all 4 times I've been pregnant.

omg this happed to me too. i dont have a regular period, so when i missed it i didnt think anything. then when i missed the second one i took 2 tests and mistaked them both for negative. then when i missed my third period i changed brands and took 2 more tests. and there it was, a faint line. hurry up and go to the doctor because i missed out on like 3 months of prenatal care.

If the line that is supposed to detect pregnancy showed up AT ALL no matter how light or dark it is then that is a positive result
get your butt to a doctor pronto so that they can check you out and make sure everything is ok

ummmm mine was the same way i took 2 like that and one line was fainted i am almost 3 months now..try the ones that say pregnant or not pregnant worked for me...i have a baby on the way woooweee...

a line is a line, and yes can be positive b4 period is due.....but test again to be sure some pregnancy tests are false....but usually a positive is a positive!!!
