i just wanna know y i havent had a boy friend yet. i am 14 and me and 2 of my friends are like the only ones of our friends or that i can think of period who has never had a boyfriend. but idk bout them but every says oh youre so pretty youre skinny youre so much prettier than i am you have such a great personality u have such perfect teeth i luv ur smile ur eyes are so pretty blablablablabla and every one gives me compliments and especially wen i am at sleep overs and we r talkin bout boys and every1 is like idk y u dont have a boyfriend and then compliment me on a buncha stuff and its kinda annoying cuz all of them have/have had boyfriend(s) b4 cept me and my other friend so i just wanna know y i dont have a boy friend yet! can ne1 help me?

No honey I didn't get the impression that you were conceited. I get what you're saying. Honestly, I'm not sure why you haven't had a boyfriend yet. There are so many possibilities, but since I don't know you, its hard to tell. Do boys flirt with you a lot? I know a lot of boys are intimidated by pretty girls and are afraid of rejection. Do you think maybe your standards are set above all the boys at school? I bet you anything they are just scared of rejection. If there are any boys you like, you should just go up and talk to them. Even if its for a second. You don't have to ask them out or anything, just have a converstaion with them and they will know you're not as scary as they think. Good Luck!

Give it time, there is no reason to rush into something like this, If everyone jumped off a bridge, would you?? Having a boyfriend doesn't make you look or act more mature, most of hte time it ends with someone getting their feeling hurt, do you want that? Jeez your only 14 live life and be single......you will be happy that you did. and if that doesn't help then there is the question...are you looking for a boy or do you have one in mind and they don't even know?? Have you expressed any interests in someone, guys feel intimidated by very good looking women and they are more likely not to ask you out because of the feeling of rejection. So if there is someone you need to let that person know, because they might feel that you are going to reject them....hope this helped if not ?????? Good luck :)

Listen sweetie, give yourself some time , you will hear this in all your answers you're only 14) you will get a boyfriend, you have a long life ahead of you just concentrate on your schooling if your in school. My advice to you is just hang out with your girlfriends and have your sleepovers and when they ask you tell them you are all about having a boyfriend yet just because they are your friend and have a boyfriend shouldn't mean anything to you. Believe me you will have a boyfriend but right now you are just to young. Don't let your friends pressure you into having a boyfriend just because they got one.

I get what you mean. I know a few guys that like me but they're not the material I want [for sure] and I bet you are really pretty. Maybe you need to plan a night when all your friends and thier bf's go to the mall or another big, public places and hang with them and make it obviouse that you are single and want a bf. Maybe guys look at you and are so awed by your beauty that they just automaticly assume you're taken. Maybe buy a few shirts stating that you are single and wanting. Go crazy. You deserve a great botfriend.

it sounds like youre scaring the guys away or you are acting nervous which makes them nervous as well. If you know any guy friends or know of anyone that does, get them to give you an opinion. I think it could be that guys think you are taken maybe or that you are too good for them. Anything is possible. Its hard to answer because Im not there to see what is happening, but I have the feeling that you could be scaring them away with your looks. Just a theory based on what you said...

Have u asked a guy i mean not all guy want ask a girl they want the girl to ask,then again guys may like there just not on ur "level" try going up to a guy and asking him out cause just waiting for a guy to ask u is gonna get u nowhere and also not saying ur ugly but there ur friends there gonna say u look better then them its not how they see u its how a guy sees u ok well yeah just try to approch a guy dont just wait for him and not all guys like my self let a girl know they like them so u gotta let the guy know ok so try approching a guy it might just work~edward~

I'm cute and I have an awesome personality and I didn't have a boyfriend until I was 18. Sometimes its because guys are intimidated by girls who are beautiful and smart. Don't worry the right guy will find you.

what are you rushing for? what your friends are ready for, you might not be. they're taking anything and settling. it might seem hard to wait when everyone else has a boyfriend but maybe the right one isn't ready to reveal his self to you. plenty of young girls go though the same thing. wait for him, he's trying to get up the nerve to come to you, until then, don't worry about what your girlfriends have, there's no guarantee what they have will last anyway.wait
