I personally love netflix. I take advantage of it because I watch movies all the time. But some people I know just take advantage of it the first few months then dont really use it since theres no late fees they keep the DVDs for a long time without watching them and therefore dont get their money's worth, so unless you're really gonna stick with watching a lot of movies dont get it. But if you watch a lot then go for it.

I've tried both. Netflix "throttles" -- they are good the first month or if you only rent a few movies a month, but if you want more, they suck.
I got my first "sorry for the delay" coupon from Blockbuster today. So they don't get accused of throttling themselves, they sent me an email apologizing for my movies not coming in quickly (two in the last 3 weeks took 3 days instead of the normal 1 or 2 days). They said they were experiencing a tremendous growth that is slowing service a bit, and they sent me a coupon for an extra free in-store rental (on top of the one I get every week). They assured me that once their plans to open more distribution centers this month comes through, the slowdown will end.
Keep in mind, I didn't complain. That's proactive customer service!
They have a free one-month trial right now...

I've had Netflix and Blockbuster. Netflix seems to work better and you get movies faster than Blockbuster. Blockbuster allows you to go in the store and browse. Lately BB has been slow at mailing out movies. Either way, it's a cool service in my book.

i have netflix and i like it. the only bad thing about it is sometimes the dvd's seem to get lost in the mail, and then you have to have your account delayed for a couple of days. the only other thing that i don't like about it is the fact that you are always having to go to the post office to mail the movies back, but you would have to do that with any online movie service. but netflix definitely saves you money if you use it instead of buying all of the dvd's.

Totally love it! We watch a lot of movies and it works for us as I go to the post office very frequently anyway. And I have always gotten the movies that I wanted.
We like the 3 at a time service. That way there is always something new to watch if you time your returns correctly.

I recommend blockbuster online. I have used both, and I think BB is much better. I takes a day longer to get the movies(at least in my area) But you get 2 free in-store rentals a month.

I dislike it I dont want to wait for one to come in cuz it might take a couple or more days. They also make it so people who rent often dont get the good movies on their list.
