euthanasia is the mercy killing of someone that is terminally ill and/ or suffering. they ask someone, practicularly a doctor or someone of that sorts, to take them out of their suffering by ending their life. in the united states it is illegal and if caught, you can recieve the death penalty.

when someone is in so much pain they don't see any reason for living. like if you are really sick and not going to get better why live feeling really sick for the rest of your life why not end it early?

It means letting the person in coma die on intention as he will be in coma until he dies anyway
