I need writers?

im starting an online magazine and i need writers for it. Do youthink i can find people who will write stuff for free?

Go to the local state University with a journalism major and put out an ad

You can find people to write for you without any remuneration. But, they should see some benefit in writing in your magazine. Since I don't know the focus of your online magazine I can't give specific answers. But the following generalised answers might be of help.

For eg. if some people want to be known among your target audience then they can write in your magazine. If your magazine is specific to a particular industry, then you can get people with industry knowledge but craving for recognition to write.

Or if your magazine will give prominence to the writers, like their photos etc then they might like to write.

If your magazine is meant for a cause which people belive in, for eg. if it is for protection of environment, you can get like minded people to contribute articles free of cost.

If you can give certificates to students, especially journalism, then they can write for you. You can also take students as trainees.

You can start contests in your online magazine and declare that the winner will be given a certificate or would be acknowledged in some manner. You can say, the person wins the right to be honorary editor of your online magazine for a specific time period.

Sure! I would love to write for you but you have to let folks know what type of mag you are starting.
