u can protect urself with a gun u cant really do anything except blow things up with explosives

You can purchase explosives - you're suppose to prove legitimate reasons for purchasing them - if not you're not suppose to be able to purchase them! But I'm sure if that's your goal - you'll get some explosives! A gun can kill supposedly only a certain number of people or one if you're threatened - it's for personal and property safety! Explosives can kill lots of people than are defenseless for no other reason than - 'you want to blow up some people or whatever' - that may be one of the reasons! So you like to see things go 'BOOM'!

Guns can take out one person at a time. Explosives are often mishandled and can take out huge crowds. Besides, it's the law.

Explosives are easy enough to build yourself. Guns are a little tougher.

Good question - what would you need explosives for?
Some C4 would blow up a car of someone you don't like.
C4 would blow up a public place and injure lots of people.
A gun would do the same thing, but states have legalized conceal carry. C4 could even blow yourself up.

It is not that hard to get explosives.... Demolition companies sell it all the time. Here in the USA, you can get certain grades of it just by showing your state drivers license.

Because the theory is (emphasis on theory) people can legitimately use guns for hunting or target practice, with explosives, it becomes too much of a strech.
