Hi

I have a 37'' lcd hdtv and i am wanting to hook my pc up to the tv and use it as a monitor. My tv has an input for it, but what do i need to do to my pc to get it to work and what kind of cable do i need to connect it to my tv? thanks very much for your help!

It really depends on your video card. You want one with at least an S-video output, but I'm guessing that your LCD monitor has an input with a DVI connection, which is bigger and of higher quality. You should look at your connections and then go to the store and get help on deciding on the right kind of video card for your computer. Plus, there are PCI ones, and AGP. AGP is usually faster, but not all computers have this slot on the motherboard. Check yours to see if you have it BEFORE you buy the card. The AGP slot is usually located right next to the processing chip and is brown. The PCI slots are white.

no, just choose a different input for the tv with the remote. im sure any new tv has like 4 hdmi ports anyway
