If you only want to reconnect with her because she's famous that's not very cool... But if you really knew her why don't you ask other people that knew her/went to that school with you?

You might also want to make sure you spell her last name correctly. If you come across someone who does know her, they might find it hard to believe you knew her that well if you get her name wrong.
