a friend who's gonna miss the FIRST day of school cuz of one I'm scared this friend will be out too long and the school will either disregard or over look any advice is appreciated thanks

There really is no "quick" way to heal sprains. Rest and ice and anti-inflammatories is about all you can do.

However, you did not mention where the sprain is...now the doctors seem to find resuming activity, just less at first and working back up to normal activity, helps in the long term.

from the old school wet a towel with apple cider vinegar.wrap where sprain is keep wet for at least 2hrs.believe me it works. i played basketball with weak ankles and always twisted them. the vinager does work.if 2hrs isn't enough keep it on overnight.white vinager will not work.

I'VE HEARD ALTERNATING HEAT AND ICE EVERY 20 MINUTES IS A GOOD THING TO DO.
