Its about 6feet long,and I can't tell how old it is.

Only sure way is to get it probed by someone who knows what they're doing. Taking it to a pet shop (last resort) or a show/breeder/herp society (preferred) can usually get that done... If it's 6 feet there's a chance it's female, since that's pretty long for a jungle, and females are often larger. Probing's the only sure way though.

You could probe it but on most pythons you can tell without that. with most pythons males will have "spurs" on either side of thier butt
but femals don't. I have never done reserch on a JCP before so I don't know for shure, but it is true for most pythons. look and see if it has them if it does then it is defenatly a male, if it doesn't then either its a female or this method doesn't work for JCPs

the spur technique is only about 40% accurate which isn't much better than a pigeon taking a multiple choice exam.. two of my females have huge spurs so take what you will from the above responce. your best bet is to take it to your nearest REPTILE SHOP... not petco.. if the shop specializes in reptiles then there's a good chance the people there know what there doing.. if your in so cal let me know and ill be happy to help you out..
