According to my book, no. I'm a leo and I know I don't get along well with them but here is what the book says.
Leo is flamboyant, domineering. Pisces is unworldly and mystical. They intrigue each other because they are so different, but the differences don't mesh well. Leo's active, outgoing nature doesn't harmonize with Pisces' dreamy introspection. Leo needs public acclaim, while Pisces prefers the sheltered life. Both are more inclined to take than give, etc.
Of course no one is a complete Leo or Pisces so sometimes other factors in astrology come into play and make people more compatible. For example, my man is a Leo but he acts nothing like a typical Leo (well not completely). On the other, I'm full on Leo. Anyway, if you like that person give them a chance. If its wrong you can blame it on the stars. Good luck! :D

It really depends on the day the leo was born under and the type of pisces. Most pisces are a bit submissive, I know I am, and leo tend to be aggressive. It is a good match if the pisces is willing to conform to anothers actions.

No! Leos and Pisces relationships should be avoided. They're just too different. Leos are more take charge and head strong..We live for ourselves and do what makes up happy. Don't get this wrong, it doesn't mean that we're selfish. It simply means that whoever we allow into our lives, we're gonna treat them and make them feel special in all that we do. Pisces are more submissive...Giving in to others...They thrive on doing things for others and in turn, they neglect what's going on in their lives. Leos will not stand for this. We expect to be appreciated, but Pisces can't do this when they're out trying to please the rest of the world..Pisces are dreamers and sometimes tend to get stuck in that dream mode...Leos are aware of reality and that's how we live. It's just not a good match. No matter how you look at it!! Give it up!!

My ex girlfriend is a pisces. We got along fine and were always on the same page, but something was always missing. I think That Leos and Pisces make great friends, but relationships should be avoided. Then again... the sex was great... although... it's better with another Leo. :)

I think that coming from a PISCES myself, that...no, thoes 2 don't get along very well, because they clash on almost everything, I know, becuase my ex-best friend was a leo and we didn't get along AT ALL... Now I have a really good friend that's a VIRGO and she's pretty cool. She'll only give me advice when I ask for it, and she won't just butt in my business when I don't want her to. I also think that PISCES & ARIES get along very well as well. My husband is an ARIES! :)

not really. Leos are too showy and in charge. and although Pisces like to have others decide for them Leos are in no way tolerant of a Pisces' sea of emotions.

Here's the way I see it. If you read that they weren't a good match, you'd probably just act as though the whole zodiac thing was stupid and continue to be with said bad match person. However, as soon as you get a good report, you'd eat it up and act as though is was some kind of magical code that was always right. I'd say around 9 out of 10 people who ever bother with the zodiac do exactly that.
So why bother?

You must look to the whole chart to see what type of people you are attracted to not just your own sun sign and the other person's sun sign.
What aspects do your Sun, Moon and Ascendant make?
The 1st house is you, your personality and appearance..
The 5th house rules love affairs.
The 7th house rules partnerships.
The 8th house rules sexuality.
What planets are in the above houses and what aspects do they make? What signs are those planets in? What sign is on the cusp of those houses? What elements (fire, earth, air & water) and qualities (cardinal, fixed & mutuable) are involved?
For a female's chart you can look to the Sun and Mars and their aspects for what types of males they are attracted to.
For a male's chart you and look to the Moon and Venus and their aspects for what types of females they are attracted to.

Any sign can be with any other sign. It all depends on your whole chart, based on your DATE, PLACE, EXACT TIME of birth, not just your Sun signs.
Your whole chart then is then compared to the other person's whole chart using a technique called Synastry.
The aspects between each other's planets and points must be looked at and interpreted. The planets in each others houses must be looked at and interpreted, both ways. Affinities must be looked for. It's not simple to a layperson, but it is to people who are educated in Astrology terminology.
Sun sign horoscopes are absolutely inaccurate to determine compatibility between two people.
