I'm talking about those born to rich parents and claim poor people are unmotivated. sure you went to harvard and all. but did you have someone to send you to good schools and all? do you know how hard it is to get to harvard when you're 14 and trying to go to school and help you're single mother support the family? So for you who crititicize the poor(90% of the rich don't)and have never experience poverty, keep your opinions to yourself.

Every person has the right to say what they want to.

You do not have to listen.

That is the answer from this person in Washington, D.C.

Sometimes, the people who do the criticizing come from families that once started out poor, generations ago, and don't understand why other people can't escape from poverty, too. I'm not saying they're RIGHT to put down the poor, especially if their own lives have been privileged, but I think this is where some of the attitude comes from.

Unfortunately, a poor black kid from the inner city is going to have much less of a shot at getting into Harvard than a middle-class white kid from the suburbs, but that's the way the world is. Don't forget that every so often, a poor black kid from the inner city DOES beat the odds and get into Harvard.

What you do in life has nothing to do with your background.Otherwise no poor would ever succeed and no rich would ever be a nobody. Most rich and successfull people are from a poor background.Whoever doesn't make it in life has only himself to blame. But if you grow in a rich family everything is much easier.
